Frequently Asked Questions

Everything researchers need to know about our compounds, ordering, shipping, and storage.

🛍️ Ordering & Products

Who can purchase from Trusted Peptides?
Our products are sold exclusively to qualified researchers, scientists, and laboratory professionals for legitimate in vitro and preclinical research purposes. You must be 18 years or older and agree to our Research Use Policy at checkout.
Are your products for human use?
No. All products sold on this site are strictly for research purposes only and are NOT intended for human consumption, diagnosis, treatment, or prevention of any condition or disease. They are not approved by the FDA for human use.
How do I choose the right compound for my research?
Each product page includes a detailed mechanism of action, research highlights, and compound specifications. Our research library also provides comprehensive background information. If you still have questions, contact our support team.
Do you offer bulk or wholesale pricing?
Yes — we work with research institutions and laboratories on volume pricing. Contact us with your institution details and compound requirements for a custom quote.

🧪 Quality & Testing

How do you verify purity?
Every batch undergoes third-party HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography) analysis and mass spectrometry confirmation at accredited independent laboratories. We maintain a minimum purity standard of ≥98% across our peptide catalog.
Can I get a Certificate of Analysis (CoA)?
Yes — a Certificate of Analysis is available for every product in our catalog. It includes purity percentage, identity confirmation, lot number, testing date, and the accredited lab name. Request it when placing your order or email our support team with your order number.
What is your quality control process?
Our QC process involves: (1) sourcing from vetted synthesis facilities with documented GMP practices, (2) internal incoming quality review, (3) independent third-party lab testing for purity and identity, (4) CoA generation linked to lot numbers, and (5) nitrogen-sealed pharmaceutical-grade vial packaging.
What purity level should I expect?
Our standard minimum is ≥98% purity by HPLC for all peptide compounds. Many compounds in our catalog routinely test at ≥99%. The exact purity result is stated on the Certificate of Analysis for each lot.

📦 Shipping & Delivery

How quickly do orders ship?
Orders placed before 2:00 PM local time ship same business day. Orders placed after 2 PM or on weekends ship the next business day. Expedited options (overnight, 2-day) are available at checkout.
How are temperature-sensitive compounds shipped?
Peptides and other temperature-sensitive compounds are shipped lyophilized (freeze-dried) in sealed amber vials with cold packs. The lyophilized form is stable at ambient temperature for 48–72 hours, providing adequate margin for transit.
Is packaging discreet?
Yes. All orders ship in plain brown or white boxes with no company branding on the exterior. The only identification on the outside is the return address and shipping label.
Do you ship internationally?
We currently ship within the United States. International shipping is available to select countries — check the checkout page for availability to your country. Customers are responsible for complying with their local import regulations.

🧊 Storage & Reconstitution

How should I store lyophilized peptides?
Store lyophilized peptides at −20°C, protected from light and moisture. Under these conditions, most peptides are stable for 24 months or longer. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
How do I reconstitute peptides?
The recommended reconstitution solvent varies by compound and is listed on each product page. For most peptides: add the appropriate volume of bacteriostatic water (for repeated-use research applications) slowly down the inside of the vial. Gently swirl to dissolve — do NOT vortex. Allow to sit for 5–10 minutes if needed.
How long is reconstituted peptide stable?
Once reconstituted, most peptides should be stored at 4°C and used within 28–30 days. For longer storage, aliquot into single-use volumes and store at −80°C. Limit freeze-thaw cycles to preserve bioactivity.
Can I use sterile saline instead of bacteriostatic water?
Sterile saline (0.9% NaCl) is acceptable for single-use reconstitution. Bacteriostatic water (0.9% benzyl alcohol) is preferred for multi-draw vials as it prevents microbial growth. Avoid plain distilled water as it lacks osmotic balance. Some peptides (notably IGF-1 LR3) require acidified water (0.1% acetic acid) — always check the product specifications.

💳 Payment & Returns

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX), ACH bank transfer, and cryptocurrency (Bitcoin, USDC). Payment processing is fully encrypted via SSL.
What is your return policy?
Due to the nature of research compounds and quality assurance requirements, we do not accept returns of opened products. If you receive a damaged shipment or a product that does not match its Certificate of Analysis, contact us within 7 days and we will arrange a replacement or full refund.
Is my payment information secure?
Yes. We use industry-standard SSL/TLS encryption for all transactions. We do not store full credit card details on our servers — all card processing is handled by our PCI-DSS compliant payment processor.
